A little about myself
I am a full-time Chinese to English translator and interpreter currently located in southwest Michigan (USA). I studied Chinese as an undergraduate and graduate student, and lived and worked in Beijing for four years. I found my first client for translation in 2005, and became a full-time freelancer in 2008.
I spend most of my time translating commercial and legal documents for agencies and academic/non-fiction books and articles for direct clients and publishers. I also am a certified court interpreter in the state of Michigan, and have interpreted in different legal settings throughout the state. My wife Shu Qing is a native Chinese speaker, and I occasionally work with her on English to Chinese translations.
If you are looking to work with someone who is dedicated to the profession and to producing quality translations, please give me a call or send me an email (contact).
I also maintain a blog that includes some of my translations and a wiki of some online tools I use as a translator.
